The delegate of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) Ivana Ertlova (Czech Republic) inspected the objects of the “BG sport center Kovilovo” where the shooting competitions (the Olympic Program) will be held during the Universiade in Belgrade.
-I am extremely satisfied with the conditions, the object is extraordinary and I think that there will be some good results too-said Ertlova, who will stay in Belgrade and view some of the competitions of the World Cup of the clay targets shooting from the 14th to the 22nd June.
-Everyone in FISU were pleasantly surprised by the response of the countries for the shooting contests in the Universiade in Bangkok last year, when 53 countries’ shooters in classic shooting and 20 counties in clay targets shooting took part, although it was the first time that this sport appeared in the program. This made that shooting tournament one of the tournaments with the most participants. We expect that even more countries will take part in Belgrade.
The hosts to Ivana Erlova were the president of the Shooting Federation of Serbia for clay targets Milan Sotra and dr.Slobodan Drobnjakovic the chief manager of the “BGD sports centre Kovilovo”, and in the delegation there were the president of the Shooting Federation of Serbia obrad stevanovic and Nenad Petkovic, the director of the shooting contest of the Universiade in Belgrade 2009.
